Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the website aiebooksuite.com and of the AI eBook Suite services offered on it (the "Service"). By creating an account or subscribing you accept them. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits the rights that the consumer protection law of your country gives you.

1. Who we are

In these Terms "we" and "us" refer to the provider, and "you" to the person using the Service.

2. The Service

AI eBook Suite is an online studio that writes eBooks with third-party artificial intelligence (AI) models. You describe the book in a form (fiction or non-fiction, topic, brief, genre, style, language, length from 2 to 25 chapters of 200 to 5,000 words each) and choose an AI model. The Service first asks the model to plan the whole book, then has it write each chapter with the plan and the chapters written before it in view. You can follow the progress, cancel, resume an interrupted generation, start a new version from the same settings ("Recreate"), read the result online and download it as EPUB, DOCX, PDF and HTML. Your books are stored in your online library until you delete them.

The AI models are not ours: they are run by the AI providers you connect with your own API key (see section 7). The quality, accuracy and speed of the text depend on the model you choose and on your instructions.

3. Your account

3.1 Age. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3.2 Accurate details. Give a valid email address that you control and keep your details up to date. You must confirm your email address before you can subscribe or generate books.

3.3 Security. Keep your password secret and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account unless it happened without any fault on your part.

4. Price and payment

4.1 Price. Access to the generator requires a subscription of US$15.00 per month. The amount shown on the payment page before you confirm is the total charged each month; we add nothing on top. Your bank may apply its own currency conversion fees if your card is not in US dollars.

4.2 What is not included. The subscription does not include AI usage: the AI provider whose key you connect bills you directly for what your books consume (see section 7).

4.3 Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. The subscription starts when your first payment is confirmed and renews automatically every month, charged in advance on the same day of the month, until you cancel.

4.4 No free trial. There is no free trial. You can try the free demo (section 8) before subscribing.

4.5 Price changes. We may change the price for future periods. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before the change applies to you; if you do not agree, you can cancel before the new price takes effect.

5. 14-day right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU/EEA)

5.1 Your right. If you are a consumer living in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you may withdraw from the subscription contract within 14 days of the day it is concluded (the day of your first payment), without giving any reason. The right applies to the first subscription, not to monthly renewals.

5.2 Immediate start. The Service starts immediately after payment. When you subscribe, you expressly ask us to start providing the Service during the withdrawal period. If you then withdraw within the 14 days, we refund the amount you paid minus a part proportionate to the days in which you had access to the Service, compared with the length of the billing period. The right of withdrawal no longer applies once the Service has been fully provided.

5.3 How to withdraw. Send us a clear statement of your decision before the 14 days have passed, for example an email to info@aiebooksuite.com from the address of your account. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. We confirm receipt, end the subscription and make the refund within 14 days of receiving your statement, using the same payment method you used, at no cost to you.

5.4 AI usage. Amounts that your AI provider charged you for generations are a matter between you and that provider and are not refunded by us.

6. Cancellation and refunds

6.1 Cancel anytime. You can cancel at any time from Manage Subscription (Stripe's customer portal) or by emailing us. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then and you will not be charged again.

6.2 Refunds. Apart from the right of withdrawal in section 5 and any other right that applicable law gives you (for example if the Service is not provided as described), fees already paid for a billing period are not refunded, including for periods in which you did not use the Service.

7. Your AI provider key and AI costs

7.1 Bring your own key. To generate books you connect your own API key from OpenAI or OpenRouter. You must have an account with that provider and comply with its terms and usage policies.

7.2 Costs. The provider charges you for every request according to its own prices, which we do not control and on which we take no commission. Costs grow with the length of the book and the price of the model, and grow faster than the length because each chapter is written with the text that comes before it in view. Any cost figure we show is an estimate, not a quote. We recommend setting a spending limit in your provider account.

7.3 How we use your key. Your key is stored encrypted and is used only to run generations that you start or resume, including automatically continuing a generation that was interrupted by a restart of our servers. You can delete it at any time on the API Keys page.

7.4 Cancel and resume. Cancelling a generation stops it after the chapter being written; chapters already written have already been billed by your provider. When you resume, the plan and the chapters already written are reused and are not paid for again. Starting a new version with Recreate is a new generation and is billed in full.

8. Free demo

The free demo writes a short sample (a title, an outline and a first chapter) from a topic you type. It is free, needs no account, is limited to a few samples per person per day and runs on an AI model paid for by us through OpenRouter. Samples are deleted after 24 hours. The demo is offered as is; we may change, limit or stop it at any time. Do not type personal or confidential information in it.

9. Your content and the generated books

9.1 Your inputs. You are responsible for what you enter in the Service and confirm that you have the right to use it. You allow us to store and process it only as needed to provide the Service to you.

9.2 The generated books. We claim no rights over the texts generated for you: as far as we are concerned, they are yours to use for any lawful purpose, including selling them. Their use may also be subject to the terms of the AI provider you used. Please note that in many countries text generated by AI without significant human creative input may not be protected by copyright, so others may be free to reuse similar text.

9.3 Your responsibility. AI can produce text that is inaccurate, outdated, biased, offensive, or similar to existing works. Review and edit every book before you publish or rely on it, check facts, and follow the rules of the platforms where you publish (for example Amazon KDP's AI-content disclosure).

10. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to create or distribute content that is illegal, infringes the rights of others (including copyright, trademarks and privacy), is defamatory, sexualises minors, incites hatred or violence, or is intended to deceive people (for example disinformation or fake reviews). You must not break the usage policies of the AI provider you use, try to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service, overload it, bypass its limits, or use automated means to create accounts or demo samples. We may suspend access that breaks these rules, as described in section 14.

11. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available, but interruptions can happen, for example for maintenance or because an AI provider or another supplier is unavailable. We may improve or change features. If a change removes an essential feature of your subscription, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused part of the period.

12. Our intellectual property

The software, design, texts and brand of the Service belong to us or our licensors. These Terms give you the right to use the Service for its purpose; they do not transfer any of those rights. The books generated for you are covered by section 9, not by this section.

13. Warranty and liability

13.1 Legal guarantee. If you are a consumer, you have the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services provided by the law of your country. Nothing in these Terms limits it.

13.2 AI output. We do not guarantee that generated text is accurate, original, complete or suitable for a particular purpose, because it is produced by third-party models from your instructions.

13.3 Limits. We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for death or personal injury, and in any other case where the law does not allow liability to be limited. Otherwise, we are liable only for foreseeable damage caused by the breach of an essential obligation of these Terms, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. We are not liable for charges made by your AI provider, or for loss of profits or loss of data that you could have avoided by downloading and keeping copies of your books.

13.4 Business users. If you use the Service for business purposes, you will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from content you generated or published in breach of these Terms or of the law.

14. Ending the contract

14.1 By you. You can cancel the subscription at any time (section 6) and ask us to delete your account by emailing us from your account address. Download any books you want to keep first: deleting the account deletes them.

14.2 By us. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these Terms or the law, or that puts the Service or other users at risk. Unless the breach is serious or the law prevents it, we will warn you first and give you time to fix it. If we close your account without a breach on your part, we will refund the unused part of the current period.

14.3 Afterwards. Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue to apply (for example 9, 13 and 15) survive the end of the contract.

15. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim either in the courts of your place of residence or in the Spanish courts; we can only bring a claim against you in the courts of your place of residence. If you use the Service for business purposes, the courts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain) have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@aiebooksuite.com; we will try to solve it within 30 days. We are not committed or obliged to take part in an alternative dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration body, but you can always contact your local consumer authority.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, for example when the Service or the law changes. We will tell you about important changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription before that date and you will not be charged again; if you keep using the Service afterwards, the new Terms apply.

17. Model withdrawal form
